Burn & Plastic Surgery Hospital

We would like to inform the people of Duhok Governorate that Burn and Plastic surgery Hospital in Duhok city had been built by the KRG and started to receive patients on sep.1. 2008 , here some informations about our hospital ;
The Hospital had the capacity of 50 beds distributed on different ward as follow:
27 beds for burn patients
20 beds for plasic and reconstructive surgery
3 beds for Intensive care ( I C U )
Also include two operating theaters one for burn patient , the other for plastic surgery
In the hospital we have the following ward and department
X-ray and ultrasound , Laboratory , Drug and supplier dep. , Physiotherapy . Out patient and Reception , Maintenance and administrative .
The Hospital have specialized staff in different specialty :
One Plastic and reconstructive surgeon
One General Surgeon
One Anesthetist
One radiologist
One practitioner in Anesthesia
Two SHO residents in plastic and burn
Six JHO residents
Three pharmacists
With experiereed staffs in both wards
The DOH – had contracted with private companies to provide best services like cleanings and food services ..
